Common HoneySuckle, Heesch, Netherlands
One of few native wild plants in the Netherlands that can compete with the overwhelming beauty of some tropical plants. This is a very large climbing plant that can grow several meters tall. Since there are multiple honeysuckles in the genus, in dutch we refer to this particular species as the "wild honeysuckle".

''Lonicera periclymenum'', known as Common Honeysuckle, European Honeysuckle or Woodbine is a deciduous climber that grows up to 10 m high. It is native to much of Europe, growing as far north as southern Norway and Sweden.
