Perophora modificata

Kapal Indah. They are the yellow small tunicate colonies. In the right there is a encrusting species that I describe in a second posting.

Depth: 20-100 ft. (6-30 m)
Distribution: Indo-West Pacific

Small colonial tunicate usually yellow, sometimes white or pale blue. Zooids in dense clusters with short stalks. Each zooid member of the colony reaches about 0.5mm -1 cm.
Grows on dead coral, reef walls, underneath overhangs and in holes.
Prefers current-rich areas.
