
White-Banded Fishing Spider (Dolomedes albineus) - ♀
Hanging out on a wall near porch lights (near an overgrown backyard habitat) in NW Georgia (Gordon County), US. July 16, 2018. VERY LARGE. Around 4 inch width! Appears to have lost and regrown a front leg.
How can one not smile when looking at this cutie!? Just look at that face!
Not the best quality video, but you can see how effective they are at hunting!
