    1. Thanks! I have yet to make to the Amazon, where some places can have as many as 50 species of that family (!!!), but I had pretty good luck on that trip with the antbirds that occurred where I was. Posted 7 years ago

The bar-crested antshrike is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found in Colombia and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
