''Arugisa lutea'', the common arugisa moth, is a species of moth in the family Erebidae. The species is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maryland and Virginia to Florida, west to Texas and Missouri.

The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are light brownish-yellow with irregular dark brown or grey antemedial, postmedial and subterminal lines. There is a dark blotch over the middle of the antemedial line and the reniform and orbicular spots are represented by.. more
