
Bird-cherry ermine, Heesch, Netherlands
Sorry, this one slipped through the Moth Week 2018 set, should have posted it earlier. Species in this family are very easy to identify when you know the host plant, and very tricky if you don't. I've been working together with an expert on FB to exclude other species in the family until we came to this one, based on pattern and distribution. Main reference is a very similar observation found here (note the top view photo in particular, which is a strong match):

The bird-cherry ermine is a day active lepidopteran from the family Yponomeutidae, the ermine moths. The wingspan of the moth ranges from 16 to 25 mm.
