Pink-barred Pseudeustrotia - Pseudeustrotia carneola

Total length: 12 mm. Mottled brown forewing with an oblique, pale pink bar slanting from the costa to the inner edge of the brown reniform spot. Irregular, white subterminal line is edged with light brown.

Attracted to a light on a rainy night.

It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick west to Alberta and Colorado, south to the Gulf of Mexico. The habitat consists of woodland edges, mesic meadows and grasslands regions.
