
Snowy-shouldered Acleris - Acleris nivisellana
Total length is 7 mm. Mottled pale gray forewing has white basal half of costa. Reddish tufts (rubbed off) mark AM and ST areas. Indented costa is accented with a gray triangle at the midpoint.
Attracted to a moth light in a rural area.

One thing I really like about MPG is that you can narrow your search to regions or states when going through the "Plate Series". They also have links to other moth sites which are helpful. Posted 7 years ago
