  1. Looks like what I've been calling Acleris nivisellana based photos at the Moth Photographers Group (http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=3510). Posted 7 years ago
    1. Yep, agreed - that’s why I had already identified it as such ;). Your link doesn’t seem to work? Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago
      1. Maybe this one will work?

        1. Wow, thanks. Great link! I wish I had seen that when identifying this moth, lol. Would have made it a lot easier ;) Posted 7 years ago
          1. MPG is usually my first source for id-ing moths. Have you seen the new Peterson Field guide on northeastern Nothe American moths? Also a helpful source. Posted 7 years ago
            1. I've never used that site, but definitely will now, so thanks again! I do have that field guide and find it very helpful...but, it probably needs a volume 2 ;) Posted 7 years ago
              1. Definitely a second volume! And I'm going to need a new copy of this one soon I think as I am wearing it out.
One thing I really like about MPG is that you can narrow your search to regions or states when going through the "Plate Series". They also have links to other moth sites which are helpful.
