
Clemens' Grass Tubeworm Moth - Acrolophus popeanella
Male moth that was about 11 mm long. It had very fuzzy palps that reached backwards towards its abdomen. It was mostly tan/brown and was marked with darker colors. It had a large median spot near inner margin of forewings.
Attracted to a moth light in a rural area.

''Acrolophus popeanella'' is a moth of the family Acrolophidae. It is found in the eastern United States, from New Jersey and Ohio south to Florida and west to Illinois, Nebraska and Texas.
