
Lactifluus corrugis
Felty, dark brown cap with white bloom; cap was about 6 cm. Gills were orange, wavy, and short gills were frequent. Stipe was solid and similar in color, but more pale than the cap. Flesh stained brown when exposed to air. Milk was white and copious.
Growing on the ground in a deciduous forest.

''Lactifluus corrugis'' , commonly known as the corrugated-cap milky, is a species of fungus in the family Russulaceae. It was first described by American mycologist Charles Horton Peck in 1880.
