Common Angle Moth - Macaria aemulataria
Wingspan 20 mm. Straw-colored forewings have faint brown lines on veins and at costa. The midpoint of the subterminal area is marked with a large, blackish mark. The outer margins have a shallow indentation near the apex.
Attracted to a light in a rural area.
''Macaria aemulataria'', the common angle moth, is a moth in the family Geometridae. It is found from Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Texas, north to Oregon and Alberta.
