Planthopper Nymph - Jikradia olitoria It was vibrant orange with greenish yellow eyes. The tip of its abdomen pointed upwards, but there were no waxy filaments.  This is the only shot I was able to get before it took off - it sort of bounced away.<br />

Planthopper Nymph - Jikradia olitoria

It was vibrant orange with greenish yellow eyes. The tip of its abdomen pointed upwards, but there were no waxy filaments. This is the only shot I was able to get before it took off - it sort of bounced away.

Spotted in a rural butterfly garden.

  1. Intruiging! Not at all a match, but found this leafhopper nymph which suggests you're at least searching in the right direction:
