Flesh: Pink (turns slightly darker pink when cut)<br />
Flesh of stipe: Yellow to pink<br />
Pore surface: Immature?, yellow (see photo)<br />

This may or may not be the southeastern doppelganger of Boletus patrioticus. It doesn&#039;t exhibit the same staining that is typical of B. patrioticus!<br />
