To me Zygogramma tortuosa looks like a decent match and it is supposedly known from the area ... I'm just not to happy with the plant it's on in your picture ... doesn't look like Ragweed ... ??? But I know nothing about plants.
P.S. Ah ... so what about Zygogramma malvae ?!? In 2003 known from AZ, TX / Mex - BugGuide says: May or may not be distinct from tortuosa. Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago
Such difficulty in distinguishing the difference between the two. Seems as though there is more data to support Zygogramma tortuosa in my area directly. I am sticking with it. Thanks again!
