Coprinellus disseminatus Coprinellus dissemination. (Coprinoid mushroom).          Saw this colony of fragile ink caps on search of endemic avians of the Nilgiris, ready to crumble and  deliquescent at any time on the loosened stand of old shola tree ,meant alot for the total canopied green ecosystem, screening a good nitrogenous cycle base on decomposing the upstanding stand paved long down! "Coprinellus disseminatus" is a species of agaric fungus in the family Psathyrellaceae. Unlike most other coprinoid mushrooms, "C. disseminatus" does not dissolve into black ink in maturity. "Coprinellus disseminatus" has about 143 sexes. The species is nonpoisonous.
