Dichrostigma flavipes - Male

Male Dichrostigma flavipes.
Kindly sent to me from Germany by Ingrid Altmann (thanks! :o) as I have no chance of finding it in the Netherlands.

Note: The photograph was taken in the Netherlands but THE SPECIMEN IS FROM BAVARIA, GERMANY
This species DOES NOT OCCUR IN THE NETHERLANDS!!

  Pretty much yes ;-P ... hundreds of species still lingering on my hard disk I'm afraid.
  Though this one was sent to me only a few months ago by a friend from Germany as we don't have this species in NL. There was no way this one would sit still for even half a second, so all images are crap. This is the best out of three attempted photo sessions, so I wasn't too eager to display it :-/ Posted 7 years ago

    I understand quality. I had to take mine while hunting with a 400mm long lens when I stumbled on mine. Not the best macro lens :-} Posted 7 years ago
