Beetle - Zenodosus sanguineus This beetle was my nemesis during the month of May.  I saw one nearly every week on the same snag.  Each time, I tried to get a shot, but it was way too fast and would go back inside the tree before I could capture it properly.  Unfortunately, this snag has since fallen and looks like it has been ravaged by a bear in search of the tasty critters within.<br />

Beetle - Zenodosus sanguineus

This beetle was my nemesis during the month of May. I saw one nearly every week on the same snag.
