Goldenrod Crab Spider - Misumena vatia This gorgeous crab spider was feasting on a bee.  It was about 9 mm long, and was all white, except for 2 red stripes on the sides of the abdomen and red/orange in the eye area.<br />

  2. Misumena vatia I think, they can be white or yellow and can change colour at will, depending on the colour of flower they are hunting on.

"Misumena vatia" is a species of crab spider with holarctic distribution. In North America, where it is the largest and best-known flower spider, it is called the goldenrod crab spider or flower spider, because it is commonly found hunting in goldenrod sprays in the autumn.
