    1. Been in the field for days. Only back for a week or so and will head back out to sea for a few weeks. I'll try to post from the research shop if I can. Should be able to get lots more images of deep sea wildlife. Then I work in Europe for a month and then in Peru for two months. I'll post whenever I can. Posted 7 years ago

The Alabama shiner is a species of fish in the "Cyprinidae" family. It is endemic to the United States where it occurs in the Alabama and Tombigbee river systems in Alabama, Georgia, eastern Mississippi, and extreme southeastern Tennessee.
