Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - Sphyrapicus varius When I was hiking this morning, I could hear baby sapsuckers, and followed the sound until I found their nest.  The parent (mother?) was coming in and out feeding the babies.<br />

The yellow-bellied sapsucker is a medium-sized woodpecker that breeds in Canada and the northeastern United States.
