    1. Thanks, Ferdy. It seems that in certain areas this fungus is quite abundant. It also stands out on the forest floor because of the seemingly glowing white circular openings. Posted 7 years ago

Nidula niveotomentosa is a fungi in the family Agaricaceae, and is a bird's nest fungi. Nidula niveotomentosa is easily recognized when young by its pubescent, white, cylindrical fruiting bodies and small brown peridioles embedded in mucilaginous gel.
