  1. Enrique, although I'm not a plant expert, I do have doubts about this species identification. I've checked many reference photos of Tillansia Recurvata, and they all look quite a lot different from your photo. Tillansia Recurvata looks to be much thinner, lengthier, doesn't have the spots, all in all it looks like a different plant to me.

    Can you explain how you came to this name? Just want to understand your thinking and any reference you have used?

''Tillandsia recurvata'', commonly known as small ballmoss or ball moss, is a flowering plant in the family Bromeliaceae that grows upon larger host plants. It grows well in areas with low light, little airflow, and high humidity, which is commonly provided by southern shade trees, often the southern live oak .
