  1. The petals are so nice and blue! The ones around here are generally more purple. Did you know that they bioaccumulate metals in the soil and are good candidates for cleaning up polluted areas? Stinks that they are invasive though. Posted 7 years ago

"Commelina communis", commonly known as the Asiatic dayflower, is an herbaceous annual plant in the dayflower family. It gets its name because the blooms last for only one day.
