Red Squirrel Track - Tamiasciurus hudsonicus I found a bunch of red squirrel tracks in some incredibly stinky mud on the edge of a small vernal pool that had numerous green frogs in it.  I'm guessing that they are either eating the frogs or drinking the stagnant water. Red Squirrel Track - Tamiasciurus hudsonicus

I found a bunch of red squirrel tracks in some incredibly stinky mud on the edge of a small vernal pool that had numerous green frogs in it. I'm guessing that they are either eating the frogs or drinking the stagnant water.

        1. Haha, thanks. I'm always looking for tracks and signs of wildlife! I have never found red squirrel tracks though, so this was a first. Posted 7 years ago
