I love all Turacos, they have such a unique appearance. I've always had a suspicion that their feathers look so much different from any other birds, but couldn't properly put my finger on it. Today I found out their feathers really are unique, having a pigment named after them: Turacoverdin:

The White-cheeked Turaco is a species of bird in the Musophagidae family. It is found in Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Sudan. A mid-sized species is measures 43 cm in length, including a tail of 19 cm, and weighs 200–315 g.
