Hacklemesh Weaver (Callobius severus) This rather large, a little over 2cm across, was inhabiting our wood shed. It is sometimes referred to as a Hacklemesh Weaver. It definitely preferred the dark rather than the light crawling under the piece of wood rather than staying on the top. I believe this might be a female because of the extended abdomen and the small palps. Callobius severus,Canada,Geotagged,Spring Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro
