  1. My first North American wild lady slippers! I was lucky to be in New England at teh peak of their blooming season, and I was just amazed to see how common they are. I saw them on just about every hike! Posted 7 years ago

"Cypripedium acaule" is a member of the orchid genus "Cypripedium". Members of this genus are commonly referred to as lady's slipper orchids.
