Bronze-winged parrot in flight, Jardin, Colombia
Far away, but the species can be confirmed if you zoom in close enough.
And this completes the coverage of our Colombia 2017 trip, which focused on the northwest. I squeezed every drip out of the set, and it has resulted in this:
805Colombia Choco & Pacific region
I'm surprisingly predictable in usually taking about 3000-3500 shots, of which 700-800 survive. Anyway, we're not done with Colombia yet. Coming October we'll be making our 3rd trip, this time focusing on the south, where the Andean foothills meet the Amazon. So next winter, coverage of this amazing wildlife destination hopefully continues.
In the meanwhile, I'll be sharing some smaller and simpler macro and zoo sets.
Finally, some more Colombia content...
