Pearled Treerunner, Jardin, Colombia Only back home and checking references from my notes do I realize what a gorgeous bird this is, given that treerunners, tree creepers and such are usually quite dull in appearance. The pearled treerunner is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. This songbird is an insectivore.
