Eastern Cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus)
Our human neighbors aren't very happy about it, however, we like to let the wildlife take over our yard as much as possible. We alternate mowing the front and back yard every few weeks (sometimes more), so plant and animal life can fluorish!
This is just one of the benefits! Beautiful cottontails!

The eastern cottontail is a New World cottontail rabbit, a member of the family Leporidae. It is the most common rabbit species in North America.
