      1. Interesting, so their tyrannical antics are longstanding ;P. After reading that there are at least 400 species of tyrant-flycatchers, I had to look up the common names and found some cool/funny ones...."Spectacled bristle tyrant, Paltry Tyrannulet, Mouse-colored tyrannulet, Northern beardless tyrannulet, Torrent tyrannulet, Greater wagtail-tyrant, Agile tit-tyrant, Eared pygmy tyrant, and cock-tailed tyrant.         1. Those are great! Flycatchers, in the most general definition of the group, are insanely diverse. Hundreds and hundreds of species in Colombia alone. And most do not look that spectacular, so it's hard to identify them. Posted 7 years ago

The streak-throated bush tyrant is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
