
Graceful Bolete
Velvety, pinkish red cap with incredibly soft and spongy pink-gray pores. Graceful stipe that was slightly darker than the cap. The stipe narrowed toward the apex and had longitudinal grooves.
This shot is so sadly blurry, but I've posted them anyway for the sake of documentation.

''Austroboletus gracilis'' is a species of bolete fungus in the family Boletaceae. Originally described as ''Boletus gracilis'' by Charles Horton Peck in 1872, it was transferred to the genus ''Austroboletus'' by Carl B. Wolfe in 1979.
