Hymenochaetopsis Olivacea Small, irregularly-shaped, brown fungus growing on a dead branch. It was very soft and fuzzy, and appears to be the early growth stage of  Hymenochaetopsis olivacea.  Growing in a mixed forest dominated by oak. Hymenochaetopsis Olivacea

Small, irregularly-shaped, brown fungus growing on a dead branch. It was very soft and fuzzy, and appears to be the early growth stage of Hymenochaetopsis olivacea. Growing in a mixed forest dominated by oak.
