  2. In fact we have only 16 species from the order Blattodea. I think there are over 4500 species of cockroaches. Posted 7 years ago

The American cockroach is the largest species of common cockroach, and often considered a pest. It is also known as the ship cockroach, kakerlac, and Bombay canary. They are native to Africa and the Middle East.
