
Yellow-bellied and Yellow-striped poison frog, Uraba, Colombia
Now here is something you don't see every day, a Yellow-bellied and Yellow-striped poison frog in a single scene. These were found a few meters apart and then placed on this leaf for a few photos, and then placed back. Going by my guide's explanation and some things I've been reading about, I'll make an attempt to explain identification, which is confusing.
On the left, in orange, is the Yellow-bellied poison frog. It comes in several variants, where orange seems unusual. Here's another observation of an orange variant:

The Yellow-bellied poison frogs often have yellow stripes making it look superficially similar to the Yellow-striped poison frog from this angle. To the right is the actual Yellow-striped poison frog, in yellow. You can see it is a bit larger. Furthermore, there's yellow marks on the thighs and stripes further down the hind legs.

The yellow-bellied poison frog, yellow-bellied poison-arrow frog, or yellowbelly poison frog (Andinobates fulguritus) is a species of frog in the family Dendrobatidae. It is found in northwestern Colombia (Chocó Department and the westernmost Antioquia and Risaralda) and east-central Panama.
