Northern Highbush Blueberry
A deciduous shrub that grows 6–12 feet tall. The dark glossy leaves are elliptical; the flowers are white, long, and bell-shaped; and the fruit is a small blue-black berry that will ripen during July-August in the northeastern US. It is a significantly important food crop. I found this bush growing wild in a swampy, mixed forest.

"Vaccinium corymbosum", the northern highbush blueberry, is a North American species of blueberry which has become a food crop of significant economic importance. It is native to eastern Canada and the eastern and southern United States, from Ontario east to Nova Scotia and south as far as Florida and eastern Texas.
