    ...I'm seeing a fair variety in appearance. I wonder if all are correctly identified, or what would be a key way to visually confirm the species. I suck quite a lot at identifying fungi, so I'm curious as to what your thoughts are?

    1. Ramaria are notoriously difficult to ID. I plan on posting this on Mushroom Observer, but I do not plan on getting beyond the genus level on my ID without microscopy. :) Unfortunately, I was unable to take this specimen home. It was on national land. Posted 7 years ago, modified 7 years ago

''Ramaria stricta'', commonly known as the strict-branch coral is a coral fungus of the genus ''Ramaria''. It has a cosmopolitan distribution, and grows on dead wood, stumps, trunks, and branches of both deciduous and coniferous trees.
