''Paeonia tenuifolia'' is a herbaceous species of peony. It is native to the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, as well as areas in Ukraine north of the Black Sea, westward into Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia and eastward to northwestern Kazakhstan.
