    If I'm not mistaken, the flowers are quite poisonous? Our neighbor used to have a tree like this. It blooms intensely for at most 2 weeks, then all flowers are on the floor. He got rid of it to protect his grandchildren who regularly visit , as well any possible pets from interacting with the flowers. It's a stunning tree to see though. Posted 7 years ago

''Laburnum anagyroides'', the Common Laburnum, Golden Chain or Golden Rain, is a species in the subfamily Faboideae, and genus ''Laburnum''. It is native to Central and Southern Europe.

The plant grows and flowers in damp and mild habitats, especially in the calcareous soils of Southern Europe.
