Rosy Ground Frog (Eupsophus roseus) tadpoles from Southern Chile. The Rosy Ground Frog (Eupsophus roseus) deposits its eggs in rainwater filled depressions - particularly beneath rocks and logs on the forest floor.  They will also deposit eggs below rocks at the edge of streams.  These tadpoles were found in a terrestrial nest at the edge of a small stream and photographed.  The frogs are endemic to the temperate rainforest of southern Chile.
