Sorry for the poor photo, this one was very far away and against the light. This is the only oriole species in Colombia where the head is more red than the body, therefore it is unmistakable.

The orange-crowned oriole is a species of bird in the family Icteridae. It is found in eastern Panama, Colombia and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
