Siberian Squill
Spring weather has been so slow to arrive in the northeastern United States this year, and so I was thrilled to find this plant getting ready to bloom!
This species was brought to the United States as an ornamental, but has escaped into the wild and become invasive.

''Scilla siberica'' is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to southwestern Russia, the Caucasus, and Turkey. Despite its name, it is not native to Siberia.
