Yellow Trout Lily I saw numerous single-leaved trout lily plants that are characterized by their green and brown mottled leaves. These plants are too young to flower as trout lily doesn't flower for the first 4-7 years of life. Eventually, each plant will bear a solitary, nodding yellow flower. But, even without the flower, this plant is beautiful! 1. Beautiful colouration, Christine. Amazing info about the age of colonies. And such a long wait to see the flowers! Posted 7 years ago
