  1. The Tenrec looks one funny friendly hedgehog with its long snout.
    I seldom see hedgehogs, they are indeed quite afraid or shy. Caught one at our tent in Sweden though, got pretty scared of someone rummaging our tent in the middle of the night. It turned out to be a large hedgehog trying to pinch our small garbage thingy. Ghehe.

The tailless tenrec , also known as the common tenrec, is a species of mammal in the Tenrecidae family. It is the only member of the genus, ''Tenrec''. It is found in Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion, and Seychelles.
