White-tailed Deer Hind Track These hind tracks were quite large and were approximately 7cm long! The hind tracks of deer have two hoofed, pointed toes that form a somewhat heart-shaped track. The outer wall of the track is mostly straight, while the inner wall is usually either straight or slightly concave. This sandy substrate was perfect to register this print, including the two dewclaws in back of the two long toes!<br />
