Wild Sarsaparilla
Leafless stalk topped with round clusters of greenish-white flowers beneath one large, umbrella-like leaf. I didn't get a shot of the large leaf because it was missing from this plant.
The aromatic rhizomes of this plant are used as a substitute for sarsaparilla. The roots are also used in tea or chewed on their own.

"Aralia nudicaulis" is a flowering plant of northern and eastern North America which reaches a height of 30–60 cm with creeping underground stems. The roots have been used as substitutes for true Sarsaparilla in herbal medicine.
