Golden-collared manakin - male, Uraba, Colombia Our second observation of this beautiful Manakin, this being the male. This one was found in the Cotton-top Tamarine reserve. Cool thing is that moments before this photo, we experienced their actual "lek", where we saw a cluster of males doing their dance and making snapping sounds. Unfortunately, it was very high up and this forest is extremely dark, so I couldn't produce a single usable photo.
