    Haha thanks! This spot, El Descanso, is quite popular with birders, for good reason. The lady who owns it has a bunch of feeders set up in her backyard, attracting a good diversity of tanagers and hummingbirds, and this species is one of the more conspicuous. There are 5 or 6 males perched around the feeders at all times. I spent quite a few hours there, over 2 days, so I had plenty of time to get a few good shots! Posted 7 years ago
