  1. Very good lighting here! Almost like a studio. Did you do this with the flash? Sharpness is very good.
I think the bug should be a bit bigger to be the main subject of the picture. Only on the second look I saw the second bug, nice extra for the sharp-eyed viewer :).

    1. Hi Joost,

The light is the sunlight I used. I didn't use a falsh.

Unfortunately I had the wrong objective on my camera to make a close up of the bug. My main subject was indeed the flower at first until I saw the tiny bug through my camera...
The second bug I discoverd on my computer screen; I didn't notice it when I took the photo.

Because it's a new specie I identified the bug instead of the flower... but you're absolutely right that the flower is more prominent.

      1. I agree to add the bug instead because it is a new specie. It would be nice if we could identify multiple species for one picture. Posted 12 years ago
  2. Interesting specie, it almost looks transparent, and very impressive that you were able to ID it. Posted 12 years ago
    1. It looked indeed transparent when I saw the bug, which I never noticed before to my recollection. I was able to identify it because of the triangel on its back. Posted 12 years ago
