  1. Did not recognize it as a peacock at first, nice perspective and love the contrast. Promoted! Posted 12 years ago
    1. Thank you Ferdy! I do like the effect of the sunlight through the wings too. Posted 12 years ago, modified 12 years ago
  2. Well shot, Josine, love the f8 effect on it. Why did you pick ISO 500 for this picture? Gratz on the promo! Posted 12 years ago
    1. I had iso on auto this time; I was lazy because one minute the sunlight was very strong and the next minute I was in the shade again of the trees/clouds. Posted 12 years ago
  3. The butterfly, the flowers, the faded background, the bright sunlight, the location of the butterfly in the picture. It is the entire scene which makes me think 'wow, beautiful!'. Posted 12 years ago
    1. Thank you Joost. I really love to play with the natural (sun)light lately. I think it makes a photo of flowers and small animals/insects extra beautiful. Here it was fascinating to watch the sunlight shine through the wings of the butterfly. So I really wanted to catch that moment - which only lasted for a few seconds - in a photo. Posted 12 years ago
  4. I favourited this one. Really amazing shot! The more I look at it the more I like it even more;) Posted 12 years ago
